Day 1 : arrival in Cayenne-Rochambeau in the afternoon, welcome at airport transfer to Cayenne (hotel Novotel*** on the beach, Amazonia*** or Central*** in town center), hand over of welcome kit (detailled program with meeting points, general documentation), free dinner and night
Day 2 : Breakfast, transfer to Rochambeau airport, AIR GUYANE flight at 10:30 to Maripasoula, arrival at 11h15, taxi to the riverside, boarding dugout on the Maroni, picnic lunch on the river, start way downstream, dinner and night (hammocks) in welcoming village (amerindian Wayanas).
Day 3 and 4 : Way downstream the Maroni river in dugout, visit of villages and small towns (Papaïchton, Grand Santi, Apatou), passing through rapids, bathing, all meals and drinks, nights in welcoming villages (hammocks)
Day 5 : Breakfast, visit of Apatou, picnic lunch on the river, arrival in St Laurent in the afternoon, transfer to Kourou, dinner and night at hotel (Atlantis*** on a lake or Les Roches*** on the beach).
Day 6 : breakfast, checkout, full day excursion to the Devil's islands, crossing by catamaran sailing boat (1h15), free visit of St Joseph island, possibility of bathing, crossing to Royale island (10 min), lunch at inn, free visit, back to the continent in the afternoon, transfer back to hotel in Kourou, free dinner and night.
Day 7 : Breakfast, checkout, departure from hotel at 7:30 for a guided visit of the Guiana Space Center (Jupiter control Center, Launch Center, approach of launch pads depending on operationnal constraints), visit of Space Museum, transfer to the animals park of Macouria, lunch at park's restaurant, visit of the park, transfer to hotel in Cayenne (Novotel, Amazonia or Central).
Day 8 : breakfast, free day in Cayenne for visiting (market) and shoppind, free lunch, night at hotel.
Day 9 : breakfast, departure from hotel at 7:30 for transfer to airport, AIR GUYANE flight at 9:00 to Saül, arrival at 9:45, welcome and installation at the village, lunch, "training walk" on the "Gros Arbres" forest path (1h30), dinner and night (hammock) at the village.
Day 10 : breakfast, departure to "carbet Hocco" located close to one of the spings of the creek St Eloi (approx. 3 hrs in primary forest), installation of forest camp, lunch, discovery walk around the camp, dinner, possibility of night walking, night in hammock.
Day 11 : breakfast, full day of walking in deep forest with picnic lunch (5 to 6 hrs walk), initiation to topography, observation of flora, dinner and night at camp (hammock).
Days 12 : breakfast, walking toward the "Crique à l'Est" (1h30), lunch and walking to the forest camp of "Eaux Claires", dinner and night at camp (hammock, toilets...)
Day 13 : breakfast, 2 hrs walking around the camp, lunch and walking back to Saül for the AIR GUYANE flight at 16:15 to Cayenne, arrival at 17:00, transfer to Cayenne (hotel Novotel, Amazonia or Central), free dinner and night.
Day 14 : breakfast, free day in Cayenne for visit (market) and shopping, free lunch, transfer to Cayenne-Rochambeau airport for flight back.
This program is based on an arrivel on Sundat.
