Faroe Islands: In the King’s footsteps, Tórshavn & Nólsoy (walking tour)

Tour description
The theme for this excursion is the first visit by the King to the Faroe Islands. The tour starts at the obelisk ‘Kongaminnið' and continues to ‘Kongabrúgvin'(harbour), where we take a 20 minute trip to Nólsoy by ferry.

Nólsoy is a typical old village where daily life passes by in its usual manner. The island is famous for its colony of Storm Petrels and excellent hiking opportunities. Lunch is served in the village, after which we take a walk out to the northern tip of the island called ‘Stongin'.

Faroe Islands: Historic Sandoy (bus tour)

Tour description
Full day excursion to one of the Faroes most unspoilt islands, where you can still experience the traditional Faroese lifestyle.

There are many interesting sights on this tour, including the puffin colonies and bird cliffs. A packed lunch is eaten en route. The ferry trip from Streymoy to Sandoy takes approximately 30 minutes. Included in the price: guide, bus, packed lunch and ferry.

Faroe Islands: Panorama & Vestmanna bird cliffs (bus tour)

Tour description
To Vestmanna with the bus along the mountain road and a panoramic view of the nearby islands. From Vestmanna we sail in small boats close to the towering bird cliffs.

The boat trip takes approximately 2 hours, after which we drive to the Viking settlement in Kvívík before returning to Tórshavn.

Faroe Islands: Lakeside

Tour description
Sightseeing by boat on the lake called Leitisvatn/Sørvágsvatn, across to the the waterfall "Bøsdalafossur", where we have an easy walk for photographs of the waterfall and birdcliffs. The tour takes approx. 3 hours.

Day 1 - Tananarive / Ifaty LD
Flight to Tulear, on the South West coast. Upon arrival, transfer to Ifaty beach (45min) and installation at PARADISIER. Birdwatching day in the fascinating spiny forest around Ifaty. Euphorbias, baobabs, pachypodiums are the home to rare endemic birds such as the Lafresnaye's Vanga , the Long-tailed Ground-Roller, but also the Running Coua, or the Littoral Rockthrush.
Lunch, dinner and night at PARADISIER.

Zambia : Vakasha Bird Watching Tour

14 days - 13 nights

Day 1
Meet and greet at the Lusaka International Airport and transfer to Palm Wood lodge, 2 nights accommodation. Enjoy the Lusaka Tour on the day of arrival to places of interest within Lusaka. On the second day we wake you up early in the morning at about 5am for a cup of coffee and prepare packed lunch in readiness for a road transfer to the bat cave in the outskirts of Lusaka about 30 minutes drive. You will spend the whole day at the bat cave in the bush viewing the bats and other birds (unforgettable memories of the bats, excellent pictures great adventure in the wilderness just a few kilometres from the capital.)

Day 3
You will be woken up early in the morning at about 5am for a cup of coffee in readiness for a road transfer to the Mkushi district of Zambia 1night at the Forest Inn Lodge (on this day, you will be woken up very early in the morning at about 4am which is the suitable time for bird watching. You will be required to move quiet a distance in the wilderness to view different kinds of birds and other possible animals)
