This tour recalls the long heritage coming from the first European explorators in Ivory Coast. You will begin the tour by visiting the old colonial houses of Grand Bassam and the few local artists. You continue your visit by learning more about the channel which was built between Grand Bassam and the estuary of Assinie. Travelling along the channel, you will explore the lagoon, learn about the life of the fishermen in the many coastal villages, and visit the plantations. Staying in your hotel by the sea, you will have much time to swim in the warm ocean.

Program:
Day 1:
Morning departure.
Visit of Bassam - Restaurant by the water.
Walk on the beach - Diner and night at the hotel.
Day 2:
Stroll in the plantation around Bonoua.
Arrival in Assinie - Visit of the village - Beach walks.
Hotel and meals all included.
Day 3:
Excursion to the lagoon estuary.
Lunch by the water.
Return to Abidjan in the afternoon.
Option:
- 1 day excursion on a dugout pirogue to the Ehitoles Islands
