Martinique sailing and snorkeling day sails.

Rodney Bay to Le Marin and Sand Dollar beach.

Departs Rodney Bay at 7.30am and returns to Rodney Bay at 5.30pm .

An early start is required as this is quite a full active day. The passage between the islands is 20 miles so it is a real sailing experience. The channel conditions can be quite variable so the crossing times are approximate. As we are visiting another country, both customs and immigration formalities are required at departure and arrival points.

We arrive in Martinique at the port of Le Marin for customs/immigration clearance, then to Sand Dollar beach, which is nestled just inside the southern headland of Martinique . This beautiful undeveloped area is ideal for a long lunch, sunbathing, snorkeling, coastal walking, reading, siesta - whichever takes your fancy. Early to mid-afternoon we set sail for the return trip back to Rodney Bay .
